About
Kavya Thanki is a current Ph.D. student at the Institute of Science, Nirma University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad, and was awarded a gold medal in her Master of Science in Biotechnology, from the Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar (IAR). After her master's, she worked as Junior Research Fellow, in the Immunology lab at the IAR for a few months and then pursued her Ph.D. She has cleared the GATE BT 2021 and 2022 exams. She is passionate about immune mechanisms underlying autoimmunology and aspires to initiate research in this area.
