Extramural GSBTM grant received at Institute of Science
Dr. Nasreen S. Munshi, Assistant Professor at Institute of Science, Nirma University has received a Major Research Project titled “A study on improving sustainability and performance of biostabilized slopes and pond linings using landfill waste and biowaste” as Principal Investigator sanctioned by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, worth Rs. 53,01,581.
It is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research project on microbially induced calcite precipitation (MICP) along with Dr. Veerabhadrappa M. Rotte (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Mahesh Mungule (Co-Investigator) from Department of Civil Engineering, Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad.
