Institute of Science hosts Award Ceremony in Sports Meet 2026:
Institute of Science, Nirma University hosted the Awards Ceremony of the ‘Sports Meet 2025–26’ on April 7, 2026, at the NIM Auditorium under the aegis of the Students’ Welfare Board, Nirma University. The ceremony recognized the achievements of students, faculty, and staff in various team and individual sports events during the academic year 2025–26. The event was graced by the Hon’ble University Vice President, Shri KK Patel, as the Chief Guest, and the Executive Registrar, Shri GR Nair, as the Guest of Honour. It was also attended by the Heads of various Institutes, along with a large gathering of students, faculty, and staff members.
The Institute of Science secured outstanding achievements across multiple events: first prize in the Tug of War (female category), first prize in Carrom (female category), runner-up in Kabaddi (female category), and runner-up in Carrom (staff category). Dr Vijay Kumar Srivastava, the event coordinator, along with his dedicated team of student volunteers ensured the smooth conduct of the ceremony. Institute of Science congratulates the winners!
