The Institute of Science, Nirma University organised an insightful expert lecture by Dr. Sohel Shaikh, Senior Manager – R&D and Regulatory Affairs, Pellucid Life Sciences on 21 September 2026 for M.Sc. Semester III students of Food & Dairy Microbiology and Medical Microbiology.
The session on “Industrial Production and Regulatory Aspects Relevant to Probiotics” provided valuable insights into probiotic manufacturing, product development, and regulatory requirements. The interactive discussion helped students connect academic learning with real-world industrial practices, encouraging curiosity and
meaningful discussions on emerging opportunities in probiotics.
