Nirma University has been accredited with Grade ‘A+’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2022. NAAC is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to assess and accredit higher educational institutions in the country.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has consistently ranked Nirma University among the top 100 institutions in the country. The NIRF framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
Nirma University is consistently ranked among the top 10 private universities in India. According to a Higher Education Review in 2014, Nirma University is the 6th best university in India. The Week, a leading Indian news magazine, has adjudged Nirma University at 3rd position among the top private universities in India. India Today in May 2017 has recognised it as a highly respected educational university among the leading universities in the country.
As per the report published by the Digital Learning Issue – April 2017, Nirma University is ranked 25th among India’s 100 top universities. The Week-HANSA Research Survey 2017 has ranked Nirma University as 1st Private University in Gujarat and 10th among all private universities of India.
Nirma University has been ranked “5 A” in the ‘Private and Deemed-to-be Universities of India 2019 Ranking conducted by Digital Learning, Asia’s premier magazine on education. “5 A” is the highest score on a 7 point scale and is categorized as “exceptional”. The ranking parameters include Faculty, Entrepreneurship, Industry Interface, Global Collaboration, Placements and Swachh Campus.
