The admission can be offered in two categories : General (85%) and NRI / NRI Sponsored Category (15%) .

For each category seperate application form has to be submitted.

A student seeking admission to any of the mentioned Programmes must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. The candidates should have Bachelors degree under 10+2+3/4/5, pattern of education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery & Dairy Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS), BDS, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Science, BHMS, BAMS, B. Tech./B.E. Bioscience, Physiotherapy and Bio-medical Engineering with at least 50% marks as aggregate of all the semester / years.

  2. Candidates who have appeared for the final semester of qualifying examination can also apply. In such case, the candidates are required to submit the results as soon as the results are available either by fax or by email (scanned image).

  3. During the counseling, if the applicant has passed the qualifying examination from the University other than Nirma University, he/she will be required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from Nirma University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot on payment of Rs.1000/- at the time of admission.
  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad and is exempted from appearing in Entrance Examination 2026.
  2. Candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from the University located in India (having NRI status) must have to appear Entrance Examination 2026.
  3. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from the Institute / University authority.
  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination in India and must have appeared in ISNU, Entrance Examination 2026. The admission will be offered based on the merit list prepared as per Entrance Examination only.
  2. Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as prescribed) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.
  3. Documentary evidence of Sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.
  4. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from the Institute of University authority.

The application processing fee: Rs. 1250/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred & Fifty only), is required to be paid along with the submission of filled-in Application form. The application processing fees is to be paid Online at the time of filing the form. The application processing fee is non-refundable.

  3. For NRI-Sponsored Category Candidates

      6. An Affidavit from Sponsoring person as per given Performa and should be submitted within the stipulated time.
        1. If the affidavit is being prepared in foreign country, sponsor has to follow the affidavit/notarization of respective country.
        2. If provision of notarization is not available in a particular country, sponsor
          has to get endorsed affidavit from Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate situated in the respective country.
        3. If affidavit procedure is being carried out in India by NRI Sponsor, in that case proof of his/her presence in India at the time of affidavit must be enclosed in the form of a photocopy of those pages of passport having immigration stamp.
        4. The signature of sponsor in affidavit must match with the signature done in
          his/her passport.
      7. Equivalence Certificate by Institute /University Authority (In case, Letter Grades/ Performance Index or Graded Point Average is given in qualifying examination).
      8. Photocopy of Passport of Sponsoring Person (having signature of sponsor)
      9. Any other certificate (Please mention)

Original documents should be produced at the time of counseling

Admission will be granted purely based on merit obtained in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Nirma University. Appearance in the Entrance Examination does not guarantee candidates for admission in the courses. The test will be based on the undergraduate syllabus of Life Sciences and Chemistry. There will be 100 objective type questions of 100 marks. The duration of the test is 1 and ½ hours. There will be no negative marking.

In case of equal score in the entrance test, the aggregate marks of the qualifying examination will be considered for determining the merit. In case of “Result Awaited” category, aggregate marks of all the previous years / semesters will be taken into consideration for determining the rank.
