We are proud to share that Dr Aarthi Sundararajan, Assistant Professor, Institute of Science, has been selected for the prestigious WomenLift Health 2026 India Leadership Journey. WomenLift Health is a global initiative dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in public and global health and is sponsored by leading philanthropic partners including the Gates Foundation.

The India Leadership Journey is a highly competitive program that brings together a cohort of 60 exceptional women leaders across India working in global and public health. The program is designed to strengthen leadership capabilities through immersive learning, coaching, and mentorship-empowering participants to expand their influence and drive meaningful impact in health systems. As part of this distinguished cohort, Dr Sundararajan’s health leadership project, aligning with the theme “Center women and girls in health” is selected. Her work focuses on advancing research and innovation in reproductive immunology and maternal health, contributing to improved health outcomes for women and newborns.
