Alumni Meet 2024-25 Report:
The Alumni Association of Institute of Science, Nirma University organized its much-awaited Alumni Meet 2024-25 at the NIM Auditorium on Saturday, January 18, 2025 bringing together former faculty and students, current batch of students, faculty and staff members.
The welcome address delivered by Dr Sriram Seshadri, Director-In-Charge setting the tone for the gathering. Our alumni Dr Vishal Patel, Assistant Professor at Ganpat University, Dr Shridhar Sanghavi Post-Doctoral Fellow at Ohio State University, U.S., Ms Nayana Sarma- Professional & Gujarat State Award Winning Playback Singer, Ms Shristi Biswas – Lecturer at Silver Oak University were invited to share their inspiring journeys, reflecting on their time at the university and how their experiences shaped their personal and professional paths. Their speech resonated with the audience, highlighting the values and knowledge gained during their time at the Institute of Science. Around 59 Alumni members from 2009 batch onwards attended the event. The Alumni who came from far and wide having diverse professional experiences assured their support in finding placement, internship and also training the current students to identify their professional goals. Many of the alumni who could participate sent their message online. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Amee Nair, expressing gratitude to all the alumni for their continuous support and contributions to the Institute’s growth and success. The Alumni Meet proved to be a memorable occasion, strengthening the bond between the institute and its alumni community, while also providing a platform for meaningful exchanges and future collaborations. It was definitely a day of reflection, networking, and celebration!
