Dr Heena V Dave and Dr Shruti Chatterjee from the Institute of Science, Nirma University have received Major Research Grants from The Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM). Dr. Heena Dave received INR 70.83 Lakhs for the Project titled “Exploring Cellular and Molecular Pathways Responsible for Pre-Metastatic Niche to Organotropic Metastasis in Triple Negative Breast Cancer: Uncovering the Role of MicroRNAs”.
Dr Shruti Chatterjee was awarded INR 52.058 Lakhs for her project titled “Study on the combination therapy with antibiotics & anti-virulent agents having synergistic effects and probable reverse selection for antibiotic resistance in Vibrio cholerae/ESKAPE pathogens” for development of an alternate therapy in multidrug resistant pathogenic bacteria.
