Prof Majumdar interacted with the faculty and students. He emphasized upon the need to have a parallel focus on research as well as innovation, both being two sides of the same coin. Thereafter, the Chief Guest inaugurated the Insectarium facility of Institute of Science. This will be the second of its kind in the country to study and culture malarial parasite for academic and research purpose.
Post lunch, there were four talks by Alumni of our Institute and are young achievers. The speakers were Dr. Harengiri Gosai, Young Faculty Achiever from Indrashil University; Mr. Niral Sarvaiya, Food Safety Officer at Food and Drug Control Authority, Gandhinagar; Mr. Yash Patel, CEO, Patel Biotech, Anand; Mr. Farhan Daila, Founder and CEO, BioQor, Mumbai and Mr. Varun Khanna, Zelle Biotech, Mumbai.
