Ms Jennifer Tellis and Ms Shristi Biswas, PhD students working under the guidance of Dr Sonal Bakshi, Institute of Science, Nirma University presented their research at the international conference “48th Annual Meeting of Indian Society of Human Genetics” held during January 21-24, 2024 at Ahmedabad. The interim findings suggest genes other than BRCA in various cancers, and a need for Indian database. The research is funded by the Nirma University Major Research Grant in collaboration with Dr Swati Manekar from Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
