🔬 Topic: “Decoding the Oral Cavity: Mapping Anatomical Niches for Microbiological and Biotechnological Application”
Dr. Iyer provided valuable insights into oral health, common dental conditions such as dental caries, plaque formation, gingivitis and cavities, and the role of root canal therapy in dental disease management.
The session also explored the fascinating intersection of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Dental Science, highlighting the role of oral microbial communities in health and disease and emerging opportunities for interdisciplinary research and innovation.
