Under the initiative of GSBTM for establishment of Bioinformatics centres in the state, the Institute has been provided with assistance for the establishment of Bioinformatics lab to foster research in the area of computational biology. The facility, one of the 11 nodal centres in Gujarat, enables students and faculty to work in different areas of cutting edge research and bridges the gap of lab-to-clinic based studies by enhancing their knowledge within a short duration of time.
Along with good infrastructure, technical assistance is also provided to help in various analyses using bioinformatics tools.
