Prof Rakesh Bhatnagar has excellent experience of being the Chairman, Director, Vice chancellor and Dean of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi Prof Rakesh was ranked among the top 10 eminent researchers publishing commendable research papers on anthrax. He also received Indian Council of Medical Research award for outstanding research work in field of Immunology and All India Biotech Association Award.

Bhushan Patwardhan

Professor Bhushan Patwardhan is former Vice Chairman, UGC and has over 20 years’ experience in academic and education governance at many Universities and institutions. He has been on important national committees of the UGC, CSIR, DST and Boards of several Universities, member of Taskforces of National Knowledge Commission and Planning Commission, Consultant to WHO, Geneva and SEARO. He is on research advisory committees of several national institutions including ICMR, RMRC Belgaum, CSIR NBRI Lucknow and TIFAC CoRE in Pharmacogenomics at Manipal University. He has worked as Chief of Academics with Manipal Education Group, Director of Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine, Bengalore and also has been Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International University. He is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine and is on several Editorial Boards.

Prof Shashidhara is currently Director of Research, Ashoka University. He did BSc and MSc from University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, India; Ph D and PDF from Cambridge, UK He was a Visiting Fellow at NCBS, Bangalore and Scientist (Group Leader) at CCMB, Hyderabad.
He is recipient of JC Bose National Fellowship, SS Bhatnagar Prize (Biological Sciences), Indian National Science Academy Fellowship, Indian Academy of Sciences Fellowship, National Academy of Sciences Fellowship, India and DAE-SRC Outstanding Research Investigator Award and CSIR Technology award in the area of Biological Sciences.

Bhaswat S Chakraborty

B Pharm (Hons), PhD, Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada
Emeritus Professor, Ganpath University and Former Senior VP of Research and Development, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

 

Prof Chakraborty graduated with B Pharm degree from Banaras Hindu University He did PhD in Clinical Pharmacology of anti-psychotic drugs and PDF from University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
He joined the Health Protection Branch, Ministry of Health, government of Canada and served as a Senior Clinical Reviewer and Acting Department Head of New Drug Application where he evaluated more than 320 new drugs.
He is also a PhD guide, Honorary Professor and External Examiner in several universities He is author and co-author of more than 70 scientific papers and abstracts in international journals.

Narottam Sahoo

Dr Sahoo is presently the Advisor of Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST) of Government of Gujarat and Senior Scientist at Gujarat Science City He did research at Regional Research Laboratory (CSIR), Bhubaneswar followed by Doctorate degree in Chemistry from Utkal University in 1999 and PDF from Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research He is recipient of GOLD Medal of the Institution of Engineers (India) in 1998, Young Scientist’s award by Department of Science and Technology, National Aryabhata Award, Shri Sohanraj Shah Silver Medal and Rotary Excellence Award.
