Dr Dablu Lal Gupta, graduated with Chemistry and Zoology from DDU Gorakhpur University in 2004, did Masters in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard University in 2008 and Ph.D. in 2015 from Department of Biochemistry, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. After that, he worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at Transnational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Faridabad from July 2015 to April 2017 and at Central University, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi from April 2017 to July 2018. He was awarded by Dr GP Talwar Young Scientist award in 2016 by Indian Immunology Society. He has received DST Young Scientist Award in 2016 and qualified various national level tests such as UGC-JRF, NET-LS, ICAR-SRF, ARS-NET, and GATE in the field of Life Science. He has a strong belief in teaching and is a passionate researcher. He teaches the subjects of Immunology, Metabolism, Bioanalytical techniques and Research Methods. He is associated with various activities of Institute as Sports Coordinator, Journal club coordinator, Co-coordinator of Alumni association, and MSc Admission. Currently, his laboratory is working on the following two major areas of interest 1) Understanding the role of MDSCs in the development of the immunosuppressive networks in cancer 2) Identification of novel biomarkers of sepsis and septic shock in trauma patients. So far, three MSc students have done their dissertation work under the guidance of Dr. Gupta and currently,eight M.Sc. students are doing their dissertation under guidance of him.
