Instruction, innovation and involvement with the community are the three vital activities of any university. Nirma University is highly engaged in extension activities through its students with a view to build the neighbouring communities and to foster psycho-social development of students.

Thus, social extension activity has been incorporated as a part of curriculum of MSc programmes where students are spending 30 hours for these activities in a semester. The activities include participation in blood donation camps, visit to old-age homes, Blind People Association, and special children home, workshops for disadvantaged section of the society, teaching the underprivileged, etc .
